OT for Kids has an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Occupational Therapy Team Lead. This role will include:

• Providing supervision and line management to a team of Occupational Therapists.
• Working alongside the Paediatric Service Coordinator to ensure smooth running and development of the service
• The opportunity to work in a creative, innovative way to increase the impact of the Occupational Therapy service in settings and with individual families.
• Working within a wider MDT liaising with and providing specialist training to other members of the MDT.
• Supporting therapists within the team with their personal and professional development.
• Delivering high-quality, specialist Occupational Therapy services to educational settings, individual families and providing reports for EHCP applications and tribunal.

The role will involve providing Occupational Therapy groups to children in primary and secondary schools across Manchester, working with the team to make continuing improvements to the quality of the service we provide, and in writing website specific content to promote Occupational Therapy.

Associate Occupational Therapist

OT for Kids are hiring associate occupational therapists who specialise in working in paediatrics. We have opportunities available nationwide in providing both individual assessment and treatment and in providing group therapy. It is essential that all applicants are a minimum of 5 years qualified with at least 2 years spent in a paediatric setting. A successful candidate would show enthusiasm and passion for working with children.

Applicants must have:

• Minimum 2 years experience with working with children
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Occupational Therapy
• Passion and enthusiasm for working in paediatrics
• Motivating and caring personality
• Experienced in providing a range of paediatric assessments
